Car Gate es un escáner equipado con cámaras, sensores y un sistema de iluminación específico. Fotografía automáticamente el vehículo al salir y regresar al aparcamiento de la oficina, es decir, al comienzo y al final del alquiler.

Todas las imágenes se anonimizan de forma inmediata para garantizar que los clientes no sean visibles. Las fotos tomadas al final del alquiler se comparan con las del inicio (si están disponibles y si el punto de recogida está equipado con un Car Gate) para detectar posibles nuevos daños.

Si se detectan nuevos daños, estos son revisados cuidadosamente por nuestro personal cualificado para garantizar un resultado justo y centrado en el cliente. Solo si un miembro del personal identifica claramente el daño como nuevo, SIXT podrá iniciar una reclamación por daños.

¿Proporcionará SIXT a sus clientes las fotos de salida y devolución?
Sí. Si se identifica un daño nuevo durante la revisión – basándose en las fotos disponibles de la salida y devolución del vehículo – se notificará al cliente por correo electrónico. Este correo electrónico también incluirá la documentación fotográfica para garantizar una total transparencia.

¿Cómo procesa Car Gate las imágenes en las que podrían aparecer clientes?
Car Gate cumple totalmente con el RGPD. Cualquier persona que pueda aparecer en las imágenes se anonimiza de forma automática e irreversible, por ejemplo, desenfocando rostros o las ventanas del vehículo.

¿Con quién pueden contactar los clientes si tienen alguna pregunta sobre una reclamación registrada por Car Gate?
Si los clientes tienen preguntas sobre una reclamación por daños documentada, pueden contactar con SIXT utilizando los datos de contacto proporcionados en el correo electrónico que contiene la documentación de la reclamación.
