¿Qué es un depósito de seguridad?

\n\n

Por cada alquiler de vehículo con tarjeta de crédito o débito, SIXT asegura el monto esperado de la factura más un depósito de seguridad en forma de fianza. El monto se liberará al enviar la factura después de que el vehículo haya sido devuelto. 
 

\n\n

¿Por qué el depósito de seguridad no ha sido liberado aún en mi tarjeta?

\n\n

En Sixt, puede pagar cómodamente con una tarjeta de crédito. Al formalizar un contrato de alquiler, Sixt realiza una retención en su tarjeta de crédito a modo de garantía de seguridad y tan pronto finaliza el contrato de alquiler se solicita automáticamente el cobro del importe del alquiler y la cancelación de dicho bloqueo íntegramente. La liberación depende de la entidad emisora de la tarjeta y puede tardar desde un par de días hasta 28 días para tarjetas de débito o bancos extranjeros. Lamentablemente, no tenemos influencia en ese punto.

¿Cuándo se me va a reembolsar el depósito?

 La liberación puede tardar hasta 4 semanas en ser efectiva.
